yr' A <br />t Council <br />tCity <br />ITEM t, <br />' Agenda Report <br />In <br />,K <br />BATE: December 19, 2018 <br />FROM: Stephanie DeWolfe; City Manager , <br />P PA ED BY: Marc Donohue, Chief City Clerk' '11,,:'' <br />SUBJECT: 2017/18 Commission Annual Reports <br />Recommendation <br />It is recommended that the City Council receive and file the 2017/2018 Commission Annual <br />Reports: <br />Commission Review and Recommendation <br />Each annual: report was prepared by the Chair of the commission in conjunction with the staff <br />liaison for that commission. <br />Discussion/Analysis <br />Every year, City commissions are required to provide an annual report to the City Council to <br />share accomplishments from the previous fiscal year. Starting :this year and going forward, <br />commission annual reports will be presented as a receive and file :item to the City Council as <br />opposed to "a formal presentation during a City Council meeting. <br />In conjunction with this change, staff has also scheduled the first annual Commissioners <br />Congress. This event will gather all Commissioners :and the City Council for the presentation of <br />amival reports and will take place on February 28, 2019. <br />Background <br />In years past, commission annual reports were formally presented to the City Council to <br />summarize accomplishments from the previous fiscal year. <br />Legal Review <br />The City Attorney has not reviewed this item. <br />Fiscal Impact <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this item. <br />Environmental Analysis <br />This item is exempt from any California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). <br />
